  M51 The Whirlpool Galaxy

My first image using the new Mountain Instruments MI-250 GEM. It was primarily to test the unguided performance of the new mount. I took 70 x 1 minute images with not one 'throw-away'. I'm quite happy!
Celestron C11 at F6.3 with Astronomiks L & RGB filters on Mountain Instruments MI-250 Gemini, unguided. L 40x1, R 10x1, G 10x1, B 10x1

  M1 The Crab Nebula

This image was quite a milestone as it is my first using the SXV-H9 guide camera.
Celestron C11 at F6.3 with Astronomiks L & RGB filters on G11 Gemini SXV guided. L 49x1, R 20x1, G 20x1, B 20x1

NGC7635 The Bubble Nebula

After some good times with the LX200 I've changed to a G11/C11 which gives me the ability to try different optical tubes.
This is my first light image from 16th October 2003. Lots of moon light but the Ha filter helped.
Celestron C11 at F6.3 with Astronomiks Ha & RGB filters on G11 Gemini unguided. Ha 60x1, G 6x1, B 6x1

  M27 The Dumbbell Nebula

18th July 2003. Meade LX200 at F6.3 with Astronomiks Ha & RGB filters. Ha 20x1m, G 10x30s, B 10x30s. First image with new Astronomiks filters.
